Meet Little Geoffrey.

Geoffrey is a very busy guy who loves to do a LOT of things. Geoffrey loves to stand up...
He loves to hang out in nature and eat leaves...
And rocks...
And books...
And teething rings. Oh and he loves to be naked. Geoffrey also loves his Godmother very very much.

Almost as much as he loves playing piano!

But most of all, Geoffrey loves his mommy and daddy.
Enjoy your preview, Stephanie!

Ready for Baby!

Julie called me a couple weeks ago to do some maternity photos, which I was thrilled to do... especially because tomorrow her baby is scheduled to be born and I get to be there photographing the event! I can't wait to meet the little one. :)

Doesn't she look wonderful? I love that we can see her reflection in the background, too...
She and her hubby are so cute and so in love...
And the entire family is quite eager to meet the new baby!
Julie, you are simply GORGEOUS!
Your maternity gallery will be up tonight so you can check it out before the baby arrives! See you tomorrrow!

Brothers

Holli wanted me to capture her youngest boys together. These little guys are just over a year apart in age... and they are definitely the best of buds. From learning to share their cheerios...

...to driving their push-cars around the yard...
... to reading each other stories...
These little guys are inseparable. They share a room with their cribs making an "L" shape facing each other. Each day when they wake up, they talk and play with one another in their respective cribs. I love that! And it is so much fun seeing just how much these guys have grown...

Enjoy your preview, Holli!

A Stroll in the Park

I loved this family photo session. Mom and dad and daughters... all of them just loving each other's company and really having a good time. It was a beautiful day and the park was nearly empty (except for a few peacocks that slightly terrified the youngest daughter!)... perfect for a little stroll...
I always love to ask couples how they met each other. I get the best stories, and almost always a laugh or two...

Sisters. I love the special relationship bond between them. With two sisters of my own, I know firsthand the dramas and the struggles that come with having a house full of girls... but aside from those, there is an unbreakable bond that runs deep between sisters. And these two definitely share it. :)
Who looks this beautiful at 13??
And I can't believe she is just 10...!
These two are one very lucky couple.
And I am one very lucky photographer. Enjoy your preview, Kerri! Your whole gallery will be up by the end of the weekend. :)

Stephanie... no longer waiting

When we last saw Stephanie, she was still waiting to meet her daughter...
Well, here she is! And she is absolutely gorgeous.

And the way she and her husband looked at their daughter, I completely melted. The two of them are so in love with her! And how can you blame them? Look at this face!
Daddy has been dying to read Green Eggs and Ham to his baby. He finally got his wish! She didn't seem to like the idea of green eggs and ham, though... ;)
My favorite part? Three generations of ladies. Stephanie's mom was there and we got some beautiful captures of the three of them together - and little baby Sophie wrapped in the same blanket that Stephanie was wrapped in as a baby. It was almost too much for Grandma to bear - she shed a few tears thinking of her baby as a mommy now.
And look at what a beautiful mommy Stephanie is!
Congratulations, Stephanie! Sophie is beautiful and I absolutely loved our session. I can't wait to share the entire gallery with you! It will be ready this weekend.

A visit from Melody

I got to spend some time with Melody and her kids while they had a short visit in Las Vegas. I just loved their personalities so much and I am so thrilled I got a chance to capture them!

Big brother and sister... they have the best relationship!
I love this picture of the whole family... totally captures everyone's quirks.
And the littlest one (on the left) with her twin cousins...
Seriously. Too much cuteness! Dirty feet, static-y hair, and giggles on the trampoline. I want to hang this picture on *my* wall and these aren't even my kids!
I could not get enough of these girls. They were practically inseparable the whole afternoon!

Thanks for letting me capture your kiddos, Mel! I had a great time with you.
